PFLAG is the first and largest organization for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ+) people, their parents and families, and allies.
Originally from Dripping Springs, Texas, Charlie graduated from American University with degrees in American Studies and Political Science. A jack of all trades, during their time in Washington, DC they've worked on Capitol Hill and with nonprofits including GLSEN, People For the American Way and Faith in Public Life. They are passionate about supporting advocates for safe and inclusive spaces for LGBTQ people, sports (and in particular trans-inclusive athletics), and spending time with their partner and three cats. At PFLAG National, they look forward to putting their expertise to good use supporting chapter leaders in their important work across the country.
