By now, we hope you’ve taken a look at--and tour of--the new PFLAG National website. This beautiful new resource for PFLAG members and supporters launched earlier this year, and we couldn’t be more proud to share it with all of you as you continue providing peer-to-peer support, educating around issues of fairness and inclusion, and advocating for legislative equality.

Having the most up-to-date and right resources at the right time, and quickly, is crucial, and we want to be sure that you have everything you need to be successful, including a good understanding of how the new site works.

Aside from the intuitive drop-down menus at the top of every page of the site, everything on is searchable by “tags,”--keywords that highlight the topic you want to investigate. Looking for transgender resources or support? Type “trans” or “transgender” into the search function at the top of the site. Family acceptance or faith? Type it into the search function. By doing so, you’ll access everything PFLAG has to offer on that subject matter, including recent news where PFLAGers are making a difference.

To get you started, here’s a quick-hit list of go-to pages and links important for chapter members and leaders:

    Need a letter to request a legislative visit? Letterhead or a media release for your chapter? These resources and more can be found on this incredibly useful resource page!

  • PFLAG Academy Online (
    Ready to learn a new skill? Want to give a second listen to a webinar you’ve already participated in? PFLAG Academy Online offers opportunities to register for live, online learning sessions conducted by PFLAG National staff and program partners, as well as on-demand recordings of previous sessions you may have missed. This is a member-only benefit, open to the public for only a short time.

  • PFLAG publications (
    PFLAG National publications are one of the core materials used in chapter work, offering support and education to those who are in need. Whether you download a free electronic version or purchase hard copies from our store, these books are sure to enhance the work you do in your community.

  • Advocacy guides and toolkits (
    Two great resources, one great page! One Voice Can Change the World and Make It Count are our advocacy and get-out-the-vote guides, freshly updated for 2016, that will give you the information you need to inform your work moving legal equality forward at the local, state, and federal levels
