You are the bravest person I have ever met. You bring my life joy every day. It is an honor to be your mother.
When you told me at Safeway you were gay you were so cute, I hope my asking what you wanted for dinner helped you understand how much this fact did not change my views of you as my son and as a fabulous soul in my life. I don’t care who you love, I only care that you find love.
Since you have begun performing in drag, I have learned so many new depths of your life and your personality. I enjoy helping you prepare, helping you with costumes, and watching you shine on stage. You are a force of nature with flair!
Each of the experiences we have had with negative people in regards to your being gay or your drag performances have only given me more confidence in who you are and how you handle yourself as a person and as a queen.
I am also inspired by your designs in fashion, you have a truly gifted eye, and we are incredibly blessed on this planet to have your creative brilliance. I know you will be incredibly successful, as you are living your passion, you are living your dream. Each new design shows more depth to your talent in fashion design.
This letter is from my heart to your heart with pure love and deep joy. You are my hero. I love you as big as the sky.
