Questions for Discussion:

  1. What do Pride celebrations and Pride month mean to you as a person who is LGBTQ-identified, or as an ally to the LGBTQ+ community? Is there a specific time or situation that brought you to this realization?
  2. What do you think the impact of not observing Pride celebrations – even if for a fully justifiable reason – might be for people in the LGBTQ+ and ally community?
  3. If many Pride celebrations aren’t able to happen in 2020, how do you think that you can still observe Pride month? In other words, what are some specific suggestions that you can make so that the commemorations happens, even if there isn’t a parade?
