Questions for Discussion:
- What do you think about the tips the author provides about being a better ally to LGBTQ people that have disabilities? Did anything surprise you? Is there anything that you would add that would go even further?
- What are some of the specific ways you could take these general recommendations to ensure that your organization / group is inclusive and accessible to the LGBTQ disabled community?
- Have you ever partnered with a disability rights/advocacy group to do any program work in the past? If not, brainstorm what a partnership might look like and who you can connect with to make it happen. Then implement your plan.
