If you have ever been to a protest in support of LGBT rights or the homeless in Middle Tennessee or nearby, you may have seen a very unassuming older woman with a gentle smile and quiet grace calmly going about her business of promoting equality. That woman is Kathy Halbrooks, the co-chair of PFLAG Nashville.
PFLAG is the first and largest organization for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ+) people, their parents and families, and allies.
