Voting is a right, and responsibility for all Americans. And PFLAG National would like to help PFLAG Chapters, leaders, and members get-out-the-vote in their communities. In 2020 there is too much at stake for our LGBTQ+ loved ones not to.

Thanks for participating in PFLAG Academy Online! One of our key goals is to help you take the information that you learned in this session and use it to make your chapter stronger and more effective. To do that, we’ve created this page to provide you with tools, resources, and references to materials mentioned in the workshop. As always, the PFLAG National staff is here to help. If you have any questions, comments, or just need some good advice, please don’t hesitate to contact us

Make an Action Plan to Vote with your PFLAG National “I’m Voting Because…” Card, then take the #2020VotePlan challenge!

Research shows that having a plan to vote increases voter turnout by 4.1%. Make a #2020VotePlan and stick to it to make a difference for you and your LGBTQ+ loved ones. By making a plan--and encouraging others to do the same and share their plan--you’ll be increasing the odds that more people will go to the polls and cast their ballots. Visit for information on filling out your "I'm Voting Because..." card, and to take the #2020VotePlan challenge!
