Founded in 1973, PFLAG is the first and largest organization dedicated to supporting, educating, and advocating for LGBTQ+ people and their families. PFLAG’s network of hundreds of chapters and more than 250,000 members and supporters works to create a caring, just, and affirming world for LGBTQ+ people and those who love them.
PFLAG Connects is accessible to all PFLAG chapters in good standing. Getting your account set up will only take a few minutes and is completely free.
- Visit the Zoom website and create your free account, preferably using your PFLAG Chapter email address. Already created your Zoom account? Go on to Step 2. (Are you a PFLAG chapter who has already created a paid Zoom account? Download this tutorial on how to close the account and transfer to the PFLAG account in just a few easy clicks.)
- Fill out the sign up form with your Zoom account information.
After you fill out the sign up form, PFLAG National will review your information and confirm that you are a chapter in good standing. (See FAQ for more information on chapters in good standing.) After review, PFLAG National will add you to the PFLAG National account and you will receive a confirmation email from Zoom asking you to confirm your account.
While you’re waiting for access from PFLAG National, you can start planning your virtual chapter meetings. Check out to find out how to run meetings as well as our PFLAG Connects Promotional Toolkit so you can make sure your community knows about your work.
