As the 2020 presidential campaign season gets started we are already getting a lot of questions about what they can and cannot say about candidates. In the excitement about candidates it is important to remember that PFLAG is a 501(c)3 and cannot endorse or oppose candidates. We have compiled some dos, don’ts, and visual examples of what you can be doing with your excitement that won’t get your chapter or PFLAG National in trouble.
Founded in 1973, PFLAG is the first and largest organization dedicated to supporting, educating, and advocating for LGBTQ+ people and their families. PFLAG’s network of hundreds of chapters and more than 325,000 members and supporters works to create a caring, just, and affirming world for LGBTQ+ people and those who love them.
