Jumel Howard

He, Him, His

Jumel Howard serves as the chapter President for PFLAG Howard County and is also the founder of Howard County’s first LGBTQIA+ Pride Festival. He is actively involved in several organizations and initiatives that serve marginalized communities across the region. Initially getting involved with PFLAG in 2016, he has engaged on every level of chapter leadership. He was first elected to the RDC in 2020 and became president of the Howard County chapter at the beginning of 2022. Jumel is an advocate for the most vulnerable and works to ensure that everyone is given a voice and the resources needed to thrive.
