As the Labor Relations Director at Walmart, Kathy has more than 15 years’ experience in human resources and employee relations, managing and supporting functional areas. Kathy currently serves as a leader supporting the Labor Relations functions for six regions across six states in the South East area of the US, where she provides guidance on workplace matters. Key functions include labor relations communication and training, as well as development of strategies and implementation of short and long term associate relation plans.

Since Kathy started her career in human resources, she has held various positions in companies ranging from small to large, including Vice President of Human Resources. Throughout her career Kathy has worked to ensure that human resource strategies reflect and enable key business initiatives.

Kathy is committed to community involvement, enhancement of the workforce focused on diversity and inclusion, as well as having a very strong passion for efforts that support LGBTQ+ equality. She pursues these passions through her participation in Dress for Success Miami, where she serves as a board member and volunteer since 2011. Her commitment to DFS Miami is based on her desire to help unemployed and underemployed individuals gain professional skills. She is also currently serving as part of Walmart’s PRIDE ARG leadership team and leads field strategy for the U.S. segment of the organization, which supports approximately 1.3 million associates. In this role she is able to put on display her commitment to fostering inclusive workspaces, as well as having the opportunity to educate field leaders and associates on LGBTQ+ issues.

Kathy, her three amazing daughters and wife reside in South Florida. They enjoy spending time with family and friends.
