Founded in 1973, PFLAG is the first and largest organization dedicated to supporting, educating, and advocating for LGBTQ+ people and their families. PFLAG’s network of hundreds of chapters and more than 325,000 members and supporters works to create a caring, just, and affirming world for LGBTQ+ people and those who love them.
About PFLAG Connects for Chapter Leaders
PFLAG Connects is a new virtual meeting space for the PFLAG Chapter Network.
As chapter leaders, you and your chapter are uniquely positioned as sources of support, education, and advocacy in your local community year-round. Now, with the COVID-19 pandemic, the challenges in providing support are even greater, especially when there are LGBTQ+ people and their families who are living together under stay-at-home or shelter-in-place orders.
Using Zoom’s robust tools at an elevated level, PFLAG Connects will provide your chapter a meeting space to continue offering support, to build and deepen connections with your community, and to expand your outreach to people who need -- but may not yet know of PFLAG.
