FAQ: ALICE Active Shooter Preparedness Training

Will this learning session be recorded?

As Navigate360 does not allow ALICE trainings to be recorded, a recording will not be available. PFLAG will consider hosting an additional training later in the year based on organizational needs and capacity.

I am not able to join this event because of a scheduling conflict – what should I do?

If you are unable to join this event due to a scheduling conflict we would encourage you to connect with another member of your PFLAG network to ask if they can participate and share their notes with you.

Can I participate in this event with a small group of chapter members?

Yes. However, because this virtual session is meant to be interactive and engaging for participants, you are strongly encouraged to assign one person to be in control of the computer. This person would be responsible for muting and unmuting your microphone, responding to polls, and submitting questions in the chat or Q&A.

I would like to invite one of my chapter’s long time organizational partners to participate – is that OK?

At this time, we are reserving space for active PFLAG leaders and members only. If it seems that space will be available for organizational and community partners we will let you know as soon as possible.

I registered for this event – and I am no longer able to participate. How do I cancel my registration?

If you register for this training and circumstances change, so that you are no longer able to participate, please contact [email protected] as soon as possible.
