Lindsey Pasquale (she/they) joined PFLAG Hartford in late 2014, seeking support as they came to terms with their gender identity. Over time, Lindsey took on more and more of a leadership role, becoming a group facilitator, and is currently PFLAG Hartford’s Co-President.

Lindsey became the PFLAG Northeast Regional Director in September 2021, supporting PFLAG chapters in CT, MA, ME, NH, RI, and VT.  They have most enjoyed creating a sense of community and engagement among the Region’s Chapters and strengthening their connection to the resources and staff at the national level.

They panel as Guest Faculty with the Internal Medicine Department at Yale.  She also serves as Community Coordinator for a group of trans and non-binary people on a steering committee for a study being conducted on the collection of Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity (SOGI) information intake methodologies.

She has moderated panels including “Right to Play: Standing Up for Trans Athletes” and “Beyond the Binary”.  Other major panels include Facebook@Stonewall at the Stonewall Inn during the 50th Anniversary of the Stonewall Riots and for Middlesex Hospital for Schwartz Rounds (promoting compassion in medicine) with panelists including Dr. Christine McGinn and Tony Ferraiolo.

They have been published in magazines and presented workshops (including “We Are All Genderfluid:  These and Other Myths About Non-Binary People”).

Lindsey has curated many large non-binary spaces on Facebook and is the creator of “Older and Non-Binary”.  She is an active member in the CT Transgender and Non-Binary community.

Lindsey and their wife Deb have been married for 30+ years and have raised two adult children.  Lindsey has a BS in Marketing and an MBA in Finance, and currently work as a consultant in the Insurance Software Industry. They are fond of encouraging people to help “create the world you want to live in”.
