Across the country, families are facing a growing wave of policies that target LGBTQ+ people, especially youth. From book bans and classroom censorship to restrictions on gender-affirming care, attacks on identity documents, and threats to marriage equality, these efforts harm families, divide communities, and undermine the safety and dignity every person deserves.

PFLAG Votes 2026: Turn Pride Into Power is PFLAG National’s nonpartisan civic engagement campaign to educate, organize, and mobilize LGBTQ+ people, families, and allies to take action at the ballot box and beyond. Building on the momentum of our Fighting For Our Pride campaign, PFLAG Votes recognizes that advocacy does not stop in Congress, at the statehouse, or at the school board. It continues in our communities, in our conversations, and at the ballot box, where we have the power to shape the future for LGBTQ+ people and families.
