Do No Harm Act

The Do No Harm Act will amend the Religious Freedom Restoration Act of 1993 (RFRA) to limit its use in cases involving discrimination, child labor and abuse, wages and collective bargaining, access to health care, public accommodations, and social services provided through government contract.

This bill was introduced in the House on 02/25/2021 by Rep. Robert C. “Bobby”  Scott, III. (VA-3). It was re-introduced in the House on 4/19/23 by Rep. Robert C. “Bobby” Scott, III (VA-3) and in the Senate on 4/19/23 by Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ).

Action Request | Ask your Member of the House to:

  • Support the Do No Harm Act, especially if they serve on the House or Senate Judiciary Committee.
  • Cosponsor this bill if they have not yet done so.
    • If your Representative has cosponsored the bill, please thank them.
