Re-Re-Envisioning Pride: Finding Signs of Hope and Action Recording & Training Toolkit

In 2021, as we looked to come back together for Pride following the tumult of 2020, we knew that there was a lot to address. Whether it was health, politics, or social justice reckonings… Pride couldn’t just “go back to normal.” Cut to three years later and we’re still not where we need to be, and our Pride events need to reflect on our historical moment and look to the future. In this session, we’ll look at the challenges of allyship in tumultuous times. We’ll also reflect on our shared history and lessons we’ve learned from experiences in the past. Then, we’ll learn how to keep up with changing times so that we can all move forward into our future together. Lastly, we’re going to look at some signs of hope and progress to help us as we build that inclusive future.

Fighting For Our Pride

LGBTQ+ people—and especially LGBTQ+ youth—are under relentless attack, from book bans and classroom censorship to restrictions on gender-affirming care and efforts to erase our identities. Fighting for Our Pride is PFLAG’s campaign to equip, train, and mobilize families and allies to push back against these harmful policies.
