The shape of Texas with a transgender pride flag heart in the center.

PFLAG x TENT

Trans people and their families have been put under a microscope we did not choose. For decades, we’ve existed through the anti-trans and anti-LGBTQ+ attacks on all levels.

Yet, we have continued to persevere. We are not afraid to face those who attack us; we will continue showing up for our community and fighting back.

In partnership, PFLAG National and the Transgender Education Network of Texas (TENT) have put up eight billboards across Texas—a reminder to lawmakers, to trans Texans, to their families, and to allies that transgender people belong in Texas.

Every single person deserves not only to exist, but to thrive and be their authentic self.

We work to accomplish gender-diverse equality through education and networking in both public and private forums. Through our efforts, we strive to halt discrimination through social, legislative, and corporate education.
