It’s no surprise to any of us that this is a difficult and polarized time. Feeling anxious, experiencing grief, and reacting to the trauma of it all is understandable. But, what happens when all this happens on a mass scale? Hannah Smith will join us to explain about Collective Anxiety, Grief & Trauma from a brain-body/holistic perspective and will offer tips to help manage these difficult times.

Hannah is president of PFLAG Skagit. She also is a certified Interpersonal Neurobiologist, trauma therapist, and national educator with 25 years of experience in clinical, corporate, and educational settings.

Hannah’s talk and Q&A will be during the first hour of the meeting. The support portion of the meeting will be during the second hour.

The group is open to LGBTQ+ persons, families, and friends. Topics range from parenting trans and nonbinary children to questions about correct language to supporting each other through tough times and so much more.
