PFLAG Jersey Shore provides a safe & welcoming space where peer-to-peer support is provided to LGBTQ+ individuals and those who love them. Join us to share experiences, find support, and build community connections.

PFLAG Jersey Shore collaborates with Monmouth Cares to bring social support groups to LGBTQ+ teens. Teen meetings are held at the same time as the adult meetings occur and provide an opportunity for teens to share experiences, find support, and build community connections.

Monthly Support Group Meeting

Are you the DAD* (*or granddad, or filling the dad role) of a transgender person [note that transgender also includes non-binary and gender non-conforming]? Join us to learn more about how to support, encourage, and celebrate your trans loved one(s).

A casual get together at our meeting location offers an opportunity to hang out in an inclusive, welcoming environment while playing a variety of board games.

PFLAG film “Pieces of Me.” Watch and discuss the 26 minute documentary based on the life of New York based artist and transgender activist Joslyn DeFreece.

Our monthly, in-person West Seattle support meeting is open to all and provides a comfortable atmosphere of openness where parents, families, friends and LGBTQ+ individuals can share their experiences with others to learn how to support one another with love and pride. A variety of educational materials are available for free.
