Monthly Online Support Meeting w/ guest Aspen Coyle, from “Project Open Arms”
Project Open Arms is designed to help transgender people get to safe places (while located in the Seattle area, they will assist people who want to move elsewhere). Project Open Arms helps with relocation resources, resumé reviews, job hunts, connecting to the new community, flights, furniture, etc.
Project Open Arms has been busy. Transgender and queer individuals are moving to Seattle and other communities deemed to be safer. Organizations such as TRACTION have faced surging demand for emergency assistance and you can learn more about how you can help by attending the September meeting.
Join us for this informative talk and Q&A during the first hour of the meeting. The support portion will be during the second hour.
Learn more about the project here. https://tractionpnw.org/open-arms/
Our monthly online support meetings are open to all and provide a comfortable atmosphere of openness where parents, families, friends and LGBTQ+ individuals can share their experiences with others to learn how to support one another with love and pride.
