Monthly PFLAG Support Group Meeting

Sign up to speak on behalf of LGBTQ+ youth at the Poudre School District Board of Education monthly meeting! PFLAG can help with your 3-minute script and attend with you! (Note that PSD requires sign up by 5pm the day before the meeting.)

Join us at our upcoming PFLAG meeting—a compassionate, inclusive space dedicated to support.

At our Monthly Community Chapter meetings, all are welcome to come and hear updates on the community and get support with your struggles. This meeting is for everyone but children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Facilitators conduct 2 simultaneous, separate support groups usually on the first Tuesday of every month; however, this month we’re meeting on the 2nd Tuesday instead:
(1) Parents/friends/allies
(2) LGBTQ+ ADULTS (ages 18 and up)

WHAT TO EXPECT: Expect a warm welcome, presentation of group guidelines, and brief introductions, followed by a facilitated discussion based on the needs of attendees. Attendees may participate in the discussion or just observe–whatever they feel comfortable doing. Who attends and information shared is confidential within both groups.

The group is open to LGBTQ+ persons, families, and friends. Topics range from parenting trans and nonbinary children to questions about correct language to supporting each other through tough times and so much more.
