Monthly Support Meeting

Parents, family members, allies and members of the LGBTQ+ community are welcome wherever you are on your coming out journey at our monthly meeting. We gather to provide support, education and share our experiences.

Interested in becoming a PFLAG volunteer?

3) Come to our online meeting to learn about ways you can help our chapter, things like staffing our information booth at community events and advocacy efforts. We’ll also have time to brainstorm volunteering activities.

Our monthly facilitated support meetings are a safe and welcoming space for LGBTQIA+ people, friends, families, and allies to get peer-to-peer support through shared stories and experiences. Come as you are!

Note: Because the content of our meetings can sometimes get complex, we do ask that support meetings be attended by ages 18+.

For May, we’re doing something a little special! Our monthly tea time will be hosted in collaboration with Niles Discovery Church’s Pride Place of Belonging. Full details and RSVP link below:

Pride Place of Belonging and PFLAG Fremont/Tri-Cities are co-sponsoring an LGBTQIA+ Community Tea Party on Sunday, May 17, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm at Niles Discovery Church, 36600 Niles Boulevard, Fremont, CA. This event is free and secular. Local Queer people, their families, friends, and allies are all invited to attend.

The Tea Party will feature a wide assortment of teas and catering by Chris Boucher: Savory Scones, Sweet Scones, and Roll-up Sandwiches. There will be Fudge by Stardust Sweets, and Cookies. RSVP is requested to determine the quantity of food needed. Please RSVP before May 12, 2026 for the Tea Party by going to https://bit.ly/lgbtqtea2605.

During this Tea Party, guests will be invited to enjoy the food, LGBTQIA community, and conversations about our lives. There will also be opportunity to learn about the purpose, support groups, and activities of PFLAG Fremont and Pride Place of Belonging.
