PFLAG National Stands with Election Officials to Count All Votes

November 4, 2020

WASHINGTON—As election officials continue to count and verify ballots, Brian K. Bond, Executive Director of PFLAG National, released the following statement.

“Today, PFLAGers across the country stand with election officials to ensure that every vote is counted. With nearly 100 million early ballots cast out of an abundance of caution during this pandemic, we knew this process would take time, effort, and patience. As election officials do their work, PFLAGers turn now to the Supreme Court as it hears Fulton v. City of Philadelphia this morning, because the work to protect LGBTQ+ people from discrimination continues.”
