PFLAG National Secular and Atheist Resources

Organizations and other resources for atheists and humanists who identify as LGBTQ+.

Dare to Doubt. If you’ve ever struggled with questioning your beliefs, or you feel shattered by the ramifications of leaving your religion, you’ve found a safe place. Dare to Doubt is a resource hub for people detaching from harmful belief systems. Our aim is to help you heal from the damage of indoctrination by connecting you with mental health professionals, aid organizations, and peer support groups.

American Atheists. Since 1963, American Atheists has been the premier organization fighting for the civil liberties of atheists and the total, absolute separation of government and religion.

American Humanist Association. The American Humanist Association has stood as the voice of humanism in the United States for over 80 years. We strive to bring about a progressive society where being good without a god is an accepted and respected way to live life.

Queer Disbelief by Camille Beredjick. Queer Disbelief documents the overlaps between the LGBTQ+ and secular movements: how they are alike and different and what they can learn from each other.
